Kaunas Biennial at the Art Fair ArtVilnius’21

The contemporary art fair ArtVilnius’21, this year again invites everyone in the fall, on October 15-17, at the Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Center LITEXPO. The program of ArtVilnius’21, which will take place in three of LITEXPO halls, will feature 55 galleries from 12 countries: Lithuania, France, Belarus, Germany, Ukraine, Albania, Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Denmark, Italy, and Romania.

We are happy to join the fair in the two discussion sessions during this art weekend.

October 16 6:30 p.m. ArtVilnius’21 at the LRT Studio, round table discussion “FUTURE OF THE ART MARKET: what changes are brought by technologies, social networks and metamodernism?” with the director of Kaunas Biennial Neringa Kulik.

Discussion is in Lithuanian, screening on LRT.LT. Organized by artXchange Global and AMRES ART Gallery.

 


October 17 12:30 p.m. ArtVilnius’21 LRT Studio, the curator of the 13th Kaunas Biennial Josée Drouin-Brisebois will discuss the Future Models of Exhibitions. Kaunas Biennial director Neringa Kulik and moderator art critic Justė Litinskaitė are participating in the conversation.

The 13th Kaunas Biennial “Once Upon Another Time… gyveno jie jau kitaip” will take place from 12 November 2021 to 20 February 2022.

The project is supported by the Lithuanian Council for Culture, Kaunas City Municipality and with the support of the Canada Council for the Arts. The event is presented in collaboration with the Office of the Embassy of Canada to Lithuania and is a part of the project Kaunas European Capital of Culture 2022.
