Ruoru Mou

Ruoru Mou (b. 1997, Florence) is a visual artist currently based between London and Amsterdam. Working primarily in sculpture and installation, the artist reconfigures industrial forms, cinematic tropes and manufacturing by-products to question our relationship to migrant labour, optics of value, hierarchies of production and material orders of power. Recent solo and group exhibitions include OFFSPRING 2025, De Ateliers, Amsterdam (2025); Big Fortune, Woonhuis De Ateliers, Amsterdam (2024); Ceremonial Weight, April in Paris, Aerdenhout, the Netherlands (2024); On Feeling, The Approach, London (2024); Leftover Linings, San Mei Gallery, London (2024); and Cozzie Livs, Des Bains, London (2023). She recently completed a 2-year residency at De Ateliers, Amsterdam and has a forthcoming solo exhibition at Cell Project Space, London.
