Céline Condorelli
Céline Condorelli (Paris, France, 1974) lives in London and in Lisbon. Condorelli‘s practice sits at the intersection between art, architecture, space and social contexts. Using a performative and participatory approach, her work investigates how social relationships are articulated in a complex system made of objects, cultural and socio-economic elements.
Céline Condorelli currently is a Professor at NABA Milan, and one of the founding directors of Eastside Projects in Birmingham, UK. Selected exhibitions include: The King’s Cross Project London, Vera Cortes Lisbon, Stroom Den Haag The Hague, MASP, São Paulo, Aldo van Eyck’s Burgerweeshuis Amsterdam, IMA Brisbane, Gwangju Biennial, Liverpool Biennial, Sydney Biennial, Kunsthalle Lissabon Lisbon, Hangar Bicocca Milan, Chisenhale Gallery London and Van Abbemuseum Eindhoven. Condorelli was the author and editor of Support Structures (Sternberg Press, 2009) and recent publications include The Company She Keeps (Book Works, 2014) and bau bau (Mousse Publishing, 2017).
