In 2013, he received the Umělec má cenu prize (Artist Has a Prize), which is awarded by young visual artists, critics and theorists to inspiring members of older generations. In his work, Zet combines personal and socially engaged themes, for example in his long-term artistic research into the sculptural legacy of his father Miloš Zet, where he has pointed out the links to the period and personal context that determine their creation and ideological focus.
