Every step I have taken in my life has led me here, now, 2004 – 2019
Stone, site-specific installation

The work is addressed to all passers-by, those leaving and arriving who can stop to read this short text. The plates are discreetly hidden on the floor, and most people come across them by accident. The work explores the dense network of relations each person creates with his or her own existence, suddenly revealing the complexity of experience for the spectator, underlining the value of the kinetic and potential energy enclosed in the life of each of us. This work involves all the voyages of the people who read it, who stop and reflect on it. It was previously installed in various public spaces of transit in Siena (2004), Antwerp (2007), Milan-Malpensa Airport (2010) and Cadorna Rail Station in Milan (2011), Piazza Santa Maria Novella in Florence (2015)and outside the LAC Museum in Lugano (2017). The intention of the artist is to share this work all over the world.
