Andrej Polukord
Andrej Polukord (Vilnius, Lithuania, 1990) is based in Vilnius and Vienna. Andrej Polukord works in painting, installation, performance, and video art. Polukord’s work create unpredictable environments and absurd situations that produce double meaning and ambiguity.
Recent exhibitions include: GAK Bremen, Minus20degree biennale Flachau, Zacheta Project Room Warsaw, Survival KIT Riga, Kunsthalle Vienna and International video art festival Moscow. Polukord is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and co-recipient of the 2016 Kunsthalle Prize Vienna. In 2014 Polukord also co-founded Galerie Uberall, one of the first private mobile galleries. Galerie Uberall has travelled and exhibited internationally including Vienna Contemporary 2015, documenta (14) Athens and Hoftallungen | mumok, Vienna.
