The extremely high teacher stress levels do not contribute towards effective children\u2019s learning. Some surveys claim that an epidemic of teacher stress is on the rise\u2026 <\/p>\n<p>We invite educators to stop for a moment and re-discover their passion for teaching and life itself. The programme creates opportunities for the participants to experience and use different tools and methods of stress management as well as boost their well-being and resilience. Alongside we will be looking into migration and social inclusion which influences the dynamic nature of the culture. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>The course consists of on-site lectures, practical activities, visits, and discussions. The thematic content of each day is based on learning through experience followed by reflection in relation to the digital orientation of the young generation. Experience days on storytelling, local customs, traditions, music and dance, art inspirations are enhanced through sharing these experiences using various WEB 2.0 tools. The course is supported with an eTwinning project which serves for monitoring own learning, visibility and dissemination purposes. These skills can be compared to pieces of mosaic \u2013 we can observe the colour and the shape of a single piece, but only a complete picture of assembled pieces together gives us aesthetic satisfaction. It also includes traditions or living expressions inherited from our ancestors and passed on to our descendants. While fragile, intangible cultural heritage is an important factor in maintaining cultural diversity in the face of growing globalisation. Participants will analyse how to re-design their school curriculum to maximize learning in our rapidly globalising world. <\/p>\n<p>Many teachers come across the dilemma of balance between internationalism and national identity, especially in single nation countries. This course will demonstrate that internationalisation of curriculum significantly enhances national identity. While learning about unique features of cultures, participants will come to an increased understanding of their own national identity at the same time developing senses of tolerance and acceptance. <\/p>\n<p>In our unique outdoor classrooms, set around the island, participants will analyse internationalisation strategy and explore various methods and tools shaping internationalisation policy to the needs of their school.
